Newton, Mass.-based investment manager Hudson Capital Partners has hired Elijah Kaplan, formerly a vice president at Marathon Asset Management, to act as vice president of its capital markets group.
In this newly created position, Kaplan will focus on originating investments in the capital markets group. He will report to the Hudson’s CIO, David Peress. At Marathon Kaplan originated and executed middle-market investments. He also analyzed and managed investments.
Prior to his time at Marathon, he served as a v.p. at Albion Investors, specializing in mezzanine and private equity investments. He began his career in the leveraged finance and investment banking groups at JPMorgan and Bank of America.
