Guggenheim Hires Deutsche Bank Esoteric ABS Pro

Guggenheim Securities has hired Matt Bissonette as a managing director in the fixed income Division, according to a company press release.

Bissonette joins Guggenheim Securities from Deutsche Bank, where he was co-head of the special situations sector within structured credit and focused on esoteric ABS. He has structured and led securitizations for many inaugural issuers and asset types, including wireless cell towers, ground leases, rooftop leases, broadcast towers, distributed antenna systems  and non-U.S. assets.

"Matt is the pre-eminent banker in telecommunications infrastructure securitization,” said Cory Wishengrad, senior managing director. “His background and expertise in telecom and other non-traditional asset classes perfectly complement our leading franchise in commercial and esoteric ABS."

In addition to telecom infrastructure, his experience includes leading innovative structured products transactions across a wide range of esoteric asset types, such as net lease real estate and aircraft.

In his role at Guggenheim, Bissonette will work on structured products transactions with a focus on esoteric asset-backed securities. He starts his position at the bank in August and will be based in New York.
