GreensLedge Capital Markets Adds New Team

GreensLedge Capital Markets has appointed Ken Wormser and David Powar as managing partners at the firm. Wil Fischer, Ninat Lekagul, and Aimee Means will also join the firm as managing directors, with Mark David, Naz Majidi, and Craig Reckin being named directors at GreensLedge.

The expanded team will continue to service hedge funds, specialty finance companies and asset managers focused on portfolios of corporate ad commercial loans, offering structuring, advisory, placement, capital raising, and other related services, according to a GreensLedge press release.

As part of their new positions at GreensLedge, both will also serve on the firm’s management committee, along with co-founders Brian Zeitlin and Jim Kane

Wormser and Powar join GreensLedge from Natixis North America, where they led the CLO and credit solutions businesses as global head and deputy head of the structured credit and conduits group, respectively. They are credited with having helmed the CLO and credit solutions businesses at Natixis since 2003 where Wormser was also responsible for securitization investment banking activities globally.

Before joining Natixis in 2003, Wormser had an eight-year stint at CIBC World Markets and 15 years at Citigroup. Meanwhile, as managing director and deputy head of structured credit and conduits group at Natixis, Powar led CLO arranging and credit solutions. Prior to Natixis in 2003, he spent five years at CIBC World Markets and two years at Moody’s Investors Service. He began his career as an associate at Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom.

“Ken and Dave have established an impressive track record providing clients with comprehensive banking solutions," said Zeitlin in reference to the new appointments.  "Along with the rest of their team, they will bring significant transactional knowledge and strategic insights to our client base.”
