Dave Richards and Jon Greenbaum have joined the New York-based offices of GoldenTree Asset Management as research analysts, the firm announced this week.
Richards joins from Citadel Investment Group, where he was a senior analyst for its fundamental credit business. At GoldenTree, he will cover the financials sector, which encompasses banks, insurance, investment banking, specialty finance and asset management.
Greenbaum will cover the healthcare, power and home building sectors, in addition to select names in the portfolio. He was with SAC Capital Advisors as an investment analyst before joining the firm.
Meanwhile, joining GoldenTree’s London office is James Kelly, who will be responsible for researching, evaluating and recommending investment opportunities for European investments. Kelly’s experience includes his most recent stint at Greywolf Capital Management where as managing director, he oversaw long and short European investments for the firm’s distressed, special situations and CLO funds.
