Following weeks of rumors that Cannes was too big and flashy for an event thats turning smaller and more sober, ESF/IMN have relocated Global ABS this year to the Hilton Metropole in London.
In an email announcing the move, the organization pointed out that more than 2,700 attendants came in 2008.
It has never been more important for key market participants to come together to discuss what our markets should like in the future, given the importance of securitization to the real economy, the release said. The events running time has also been trimmed to two days from four last year.
