Fitch Solutions will preview two new products at the American Securitization Forums (ASF) annual conference that starts this weekend.
The first product will be Fitch Deal View, which is a desktop application that brings added transparency and integration to the structured finance market.
This new offering was developed in partnership with Portsmouth Financial Systems. The rating agency's new offering gives clients detailed collateral analysis, public and legible waterfall models, loan-level prepayment and default modeling, and unrivaled scenario analysis for MBS, according to a release from the rating agency.By bringing together historical and current transaction data, deal structure information, bond characteristics, as well as related analytics, the new product covers tasks that now require several applications.
An enhanced version of the Fitch Risk and Performance Platform will also be freatured at the ASF gathering. This platform offers one source of credit derivatives (CDS) pricing data, market-based credit risk measures and portfolio monitoring tools delivered through an analytical platform. The new features that will be previewed include the Dashboard, a portfolio-based module which enables users to plot their portfolios against various benchmarks.
These platforms offer unlimited possibilities for much-needed level of transparency and oversight in a market where there is a notable dearth of active surveillance, said Gloria Aviotti, group managing director and global head of Fitch Solutions.
