Fitch Launches U.S. Structured Finance Snapshot

Fitch Ratings has introduced an interactive quarterly report for U.S. structured finance market participants called the U.S. Structured Finance Snapshot.

The new tool will expand on a project launched by Fitch’s EMEA structured finance team earlier this year and will be accessible through their Internet homepage, Fitch announced today.

Several highlights of the report include: a comprehensive overview of rating actions, ratings transition summaries across all asset classes, and a timeline and upcoming criteria.

The Snapshot will also include market perspectives through an interview with group managing director Kevin Duignan, who heads Fitch’s U.S. structured finance group, according to the agency.

“Through this user-friendly product, Fitch is delivering value beyond traditional credit ratings through its transparent, forward-looking and timely research,” said group managing director Doug Murray. “The Snapshot gives investors a detailed overview of both Fitch's rating process and its forward-looking insights.”
