Encore Bank, a subsidiary of Encore Bancshares, appointed Robert W. Brown as senior vice president of Encore Bank.
He will be responsible for the bank's asset recovery management.
Brown comes has over 37 years of banking and bank-related experience,mainly with First City Bancorporation of Texas (First City) and its successor companies.
While at First City, he held various positions such as auditor, controller, chief financial officer, executive vice president for finance and operations, and chief operating officer.
Brown also oversaw the collection/liquidation of a combined $500 million loan and real estate portfolio.
