DBRS hired Chris D'Onofrio for its structured finance group as a senior vice president. D'Onofrio will focus his efforts in the firm's ABS group as a lead analyst.
Before DBRS, Chris was a partner at Cold Street Partners where he advised middle market specialty finance clients in the subprime auto sector. Prior to that stint,D'Onofrio spent nine years at Citigroup where he was most recently as a director in the global securitized products group. In this position, he originated and structured consumer ABS deals.
During his time at Citigroup, D'Onofrio worked on different asset classes in the auto/vehicle finance, timeshare and mortgage sectors. Before Citigroup, he worked for ten years at MBIA Insurance Corp. as an analyst where he originated and analyzed MBS.
At DBRS, he reports directly to Claire Mezzanotte, head of the U.S. and European ABS, RMBS and covered bond group.
Recently the rating agency also hired David Sánchez Rodríguez for its structured finance group as assistant vice president to focus on analyzing structured finance deals in Spain and Germany. For the full story, please click
