Financial advisory firm Capital Market Risk Advisors (CMRA) hired Peter Niculescu as partner and head of fixed income.
Niculescu will provide advisory and litigation support services for all types of fixed income and derivatives strategies and instruments, such as mortgages, RMBS, CDOs, CDS, CLOs, options, and other structured and complex securities, as well as will advise clients with respect to corporate credit, portfolio and hedging strategies, risk analyses and valuations.
Prior to CMRA, Niculescu was responsible for portfolio investments and funding at Fannie Mae as executive vice president and head of capital markets, before which he ran mortgage and fixed income research as a managing director at Goldman Sachs. The new hire started his career as a fixed income portfolio manager at Sanford C. Bernstein.
