CastleOak Securities hired Gene Gallagher and Roy Jones to its fixed-income sales and trading team.

"Adding a professional like Gene with over 25 years of industry experience is a huge benefit. He will serve as managing director of fixed-income sales and trading based in New York, where he will spearhead our Preferred Stock business.
Gallagher was formerly a vice president at Goldman Sachs where he established the secondary preferred stock trading desk. Earlier, he was vice president for Blaylock & Partners and also held positions with Chase Securities, Morgan Stanley, as well as MKI Securities Corp.
"Throughout his career of over 20 years, Roy has demonstrated a keen ability to build and maintain profitable client relationships, and develop successful sales teams. He will be based in our Chicago office and serve as director of fixed-Income sales and trading,"
Jones said. "I am thrilled to announce Roys arrival as I know he will add tremendous value to an already strong core of fixed income professionals.
Jones was previously a director of the Generalist sales group for Wachovia Capital Markets, where he managed a regional offices sales coverage. Earlier, he was principal of fixed-income sales for Williams Capital Group. He also held positions at Mesirow Financial, Goldman Sachs, and NationsBank.
