Calyon has hired a Citigroup veteran as its head of loan syndication sales and trading for the Americas, the New York-based firm said today.
Jeff Ferrell will also serve as a managing director and report to Gary Herzog, managing director and head of the America’s loan syndications group.
Ferrell joins from the corporate credit sales group at PrinceRidge. Prior to that, he served more than 20 years with Citigroup, where he eventually worked as a managing director in loan sales. He left the firm last March as Citigroup was slashing thousands of jobs and was not replaced.
Calyon in the Americas is the regional unit of Crédit Agricole Group. It is headquartered in New York and has offices in Chicago, Dallas and Houston, as well as Canada, Argentina, Brazil and Mexico.
