BofA Snags JPMorgan Vet For Loan Sales

Bank of America Merrill Lynch has nabbed a JPMorgan veteran to head up its Americas primary loan sales unit, the New York-based banking giant announced yesterday.

Douglas Antonacci is expected to join BofA in the first quarter of 2010.

Antonacci, who joins as managing director, will be based in New York and report to A.J. Murphy, head of U.S. leveraged loan capital markets.

Antonacci joins BofA from JPMorgan, where he most recently led the firm’s primary loan sales group. He has worked at JPMorgan for 22 years and has focused on primary loan sales for more than 15 years.

BofA’s leveraged loan capital markets unit is part of its global leveraged finance group, which is led by David Flannery.
