BofA Names Head of Fixed-Income Sales

Bank of America announced a new head of Americas fixed-income sales as part of its combined global markets team for Bank of America Merrill Lynch.

The bank named Bryan Weadock as head of Americas fixed-income sales. He will begin his tenure this July. Weadock was most recently head of North American fixed income sales with JPMorgan Chase, where he has spent the last 17 years of his career and served in such positions as head of U.S. credit sales and head of U.S. high grade credit sales.

Mike Meyer, who was appointed to the role of global head of sales for global markets last November, has been the acting head of Americas fixed income sales and will continue until Weadock joins in July. Weadock will report to Meyer.

A BofA spokeswoman said that the bank is hiring new talent in both its global markets and investment banking groups.
