Bank of America has hired a former Credit Suisse banker as co-head of distressed sales and trading for Europe, the Middle East and Africa.
Michael Guy, who was co-head of Credit Suisse’s European special situations team, which focuses on trading, loan origination and debt restructuring, left Credit Suisse in June 2009, according to the Financial Times.
At Bank of America, Guy will focus on distressed leveraged loans, high yield bonds, private placements and other securities.
He will be based in London and work alongside the group’s other co-head, Dan Bird.
