Guy Carpenter, appointed Peter Barr to the position of senior vice president of its regional reinsurance market team, the company announced today in a press release.
Barr joins Guy Carpenter’s the team with more than 30 years of experience in reinsurance, most recently as senior vice president at Mutual Reinsurance Bureau. In this role, he was responsible for the underwriting and production of regional property and casualty business throughout the New England and Mid-Atlantic regions. He began his career with Liberty Mutual Insurance Company in Boston, MA.
