Having recently amended a filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission, Target Corp. is one step closer to bringing its private label credit-card portfolio to market. The filing describes a senior subordinate structure, with class-A and class-B notes. Other details were unavailable.
CAK Universal Credit and Deutsche Bank Alex. Brown are said to be in the final stages of a ground breaking transaction, though no details - save it involves at least one publicly traded company - were available at press time.
"There are a lot of securities out there that will be impacted by this," said a source familiar with the transaction. "It is a very significant deal."
