Vertical Capital Solutions (VCAP Solutions), in partnership with Vertical Capital, launched a valuation and advisory business providing a wide range of services to clients, Vertical Capital said in a release.
The platform combines Vertical Capitals technology and analytics with Kensington Blake Capital, an advisory platform with experience in structured products valuation, advisory, risk management, and the trading of complex loans and securities.
Charles McLendon is leading the effort as managing partner.
McLendon was formerly the president and CIO of Primus Asset Management and was the global head of the investment grade credit group at Bank of America.
Ricardo Diaz and Brian Zwerner will join as founding partners in VCAP Solutions, and were former partners at Kensington Blake Capital.
The new business will have a core team of seven professionals and the support from Vertical Capitals proprietary loan level technology platform.
VCAP Solutions will have offices in New York, Atlanta and Chicago.
