The PrinceRidge Group has made two hires within the firm's expanding MBS division.
Kate Lee has joined PrinceRidge, after six years at BNP Paribas, to spearhead the firm’s new-issue CMO effort. She will aslo trade mortgage derivatives.
Jason Huey has also joined the firm as an MBS salesperson. Huey previously worked at Nomura and before that at Blue Mountain and JPMorgan Chase.
Both Lee and Huey report to Barry Berkeley, the group’s head. “I am very excited about both of our most recent hires," Berkeley said. "They each bring solid experience and strong relationships to PrinceRidge.”
The firm will continue expanding its MBS effort. “This is an excellent opportunity to hire talented professionals to a commission-based platform with inventory capability,” Berkeley added. “I believe PrinceRidge provides one of the more unique opportunities presented in a long time.”
PrinceRidge, which focuses on fixed-income, is a financial services firm led by Chairman John Costas and CEO Michael Hutchins. It has offices in New York, Chicago, Philadelphia, Boca Raton, Maryland, and Texas.
