Deloitte & Touche has released an enhanced version of its CDO Suite product.
The new version supports the data format guidelines from The Depository Trust & Clearing Corp.s (DTCC) loan commitment position reconciliation service.
CDO Suite is an asset administration, compliance, and reporting system designed to back a number of portfolio structures, including hedge funds and CDOs. The new version of the software helps clients automate syndicated loan processing and allows users to generate the data files needed to post their loan positions to DTCCs reconcilement service.
Hillel Caplan, a partner with the securitization services group in New York and the leader of its CDO Suite practice, said to improve operational efficiency and data accuracy as well as at the request of consumers, the program has additional support for the DTCCs Loan/SERV data format guidelines.
Additionally, there is a loan transaction data feed for CDO Suite with a patent thats currently pending. Deloitte is participating in a financial products mark-up language syndicated loan working group that is working to establish a common electronic data exchange format for agent-lender communications, according to Caplan.
