StormHarbour Continues Asia-Pacific Expansion

StormHarbour has made two new senior appointments in Hong Kong that will bolster its Asia-Pacific capital markets business.

Hong Hoo Moon and Guohua Ren have joined as managing directors, reporting directly to Water Cheung, who is principal and Asia-Pacific chief executive officer.

Moon will be responsible for Korean capital markets origination. He was formerly head of the financial institutions group and head of investment banking at BNP Paribas Securities Korea where he was based in Seoul.

Ren, who will be responsible for capital markets origination in Greater China, was formerly head of capital markets, China global markets, at Standard Chartered Bank in Hong Kong.

These appointments are the latest StormHarbour has made to its global operations this year and particularly in the Asia-Pacific.

In March the firm announced four senior appointments in Hong Kong and Singapore, three of which formed the Asia-Pacific infrastructure finance team.
