Silver Creek Capital appoints new MD, business development, Callahan

Courtesty of Silver Creek Capital

Silver Creek Capital, an alternative investment management firm offering investment solutions to institutional and sophisticated investors has hired Michael Callahan as its new managing director of business development.

The Seattle-based company announced that Callahan started the week of March 11, and will oversee the development and execution of a range of global growth initiatives. Bob Ratliffe, president of Silver Creek Capital, said Callahan has a strong track record of reaching out to investors successfully——and carry out other strategic initiatives.

Callahan joins Silver Creek from Investcorp, where he was a managing director of institutional capital raising for its global credit business. The news follows another recent team addition, when David Matter joined the firm as co-chief investment officer. Matter joined the firm from BlackRock Alternative Advisors, where he was also co-chief investment officer.

"We look forward to leveraging Mike's extensive institutional relationships and deep market knowledge as we continue to build our investment platforms and to meet client needs," Ratliffe said.
