Sallie Mae Names Clark New CFO

SLM Corporation , better known Sallie Mae, has appointed Jonathan Clark executive vice president and CFO.

Clark will be responsible for the student loan company’s corporate finance, accounting, financial planning and analysis, and corporate development divisions.

Clark most recently served as Sallie Mae’s executive vice president and treasurer. He joined Sallie Mae in 2008 as senior vice president of corporate finance from Credit Suisse.

Previously, he held positions at Prudential Securities, First Boston, Dean Witter and Hewlett-Packard.
