The Real Estate Finance Group's addition of three commercial real estate lenders expands its client service and coverage nationwide for commercial real estate, according to an Aug. 31 release from the firm.
Ken Stevenson, a principal of Brownstone Capital Group, a New Jersey-based commercial real estate firm, will provide lending services to clients nationwide.
Jonathan Kane, a financial services professional, will provide clients with a background in property and casualty insurance as well as real estate in the New York area.
Jim Genis, an investment officer at nationwide commercial real estate bridge lender Opal Sea Capital, will provide client services in the U.S. Midwest Region.
Stevenson will lead CMBS originations for the group. He is a former vice president and originator at Lehman Brothers.
Kane will join the mortgage firm's New York office. He has a background in insurance, and a current focus on national retail lenders.
Genis will relocate the offices of Opal Sea Capital to Kansas City to initiate Midwest Region coverage and become part of the Real Estate Finance Group. The transition is effective immediately, the release said.
