RBS Securities has hired Simon Walker to cohead its loan syndicate within its global banking and markets division.
Walker joins the bank from UBS, where he was head of investment-grade loan markets. At RBS, he will work alongside David Nadelman and focus on investment-grade loan syndications. He will be based in Stamford, Conn. and report to Victor Forte, the head of the RBS’ syndicate for the Americas.
Prior to his time at UBS, Walker spent 12 years at Citigroup, working in a number areas including global portfolio management, debt capital markets, banking and structured derivatives.
