Praesidian Capital named a new managing director and vice president, the New York-based mezzanine provider and asset manager said today.
Praesidian appointed Glenn Harrison as a new managing director. He had been a principal. Harrison has been with the firm for three years, focusing on investment sourcing and due dilligence. He previously served as a vice president with Merrill Lynch middle market finance structuring debt investmetns in middle market companies.
The firm also promoted James Heyer to vice president from associate. Heyer is a two-year veteran of the firm and previously worked as an analyst in the structured finance group of Goldman Sachs.
Praesidian manages more than $400 million in capital and focuses on providing mezzanine financing and other debt capital to middle market companies.
