Oak Hill Boosts its Client Coverage Team

Oak Hill Advisors hired Chris Cereghino as a managing director in its client coverage team.  Based in New York, Cereghino is responsible for business development and relationship management at the firm along with a team of other professionals.

Cereghino will broaden and enhance the firm's existing relationships with investors globally. Oak Hill raised more than $4 billion of net new capital since January 2008 for investing in distressed and performing opportunities in the European and U.S markets.

The new hire was previously from GoldenTree Asset Management where he was a marketing director. Before this, he was an executive director at JPMorgan as a senior member of the firm’s global structured syndicate. Cereghino started his career as a credit analyst in the workout group at Chemical Bank, which is a predecessor firm to JPMorgan.

“We are delighted to have Chris join our team as we strive to provide best in class service to our investors," said Bill Bohnsack, senior partner of Oak Hill Advisors. "We have benefited from our partnership with sophisticated investors that include institutions, pension plans, sovereign wealth funds and high net worth families from all over the world, and we look forward to deepening our relationships with them.”

“I am excited to be a part of Oak Hill Advisors, a firm known for its rigorous fundamental analysis of companies and thoughtful investment approach," Cereghino said. "I look forward to helping to broaden the firm’s presence and strengthen relationships with investors globally.”

Oak Hill is an independent investment management firm with 20 years of experience and more than $13 billion of capital in credit hedge funds, distressed funds, long-only funds and other specialty credit products. It invests in North American and European structured products, distressed investments, leveraged loans and high yield bonds. The firm has offices in  New York, London and Fort Worth.
