Nomura Adds Lev Finance Banker

Nomura added a leveraged finance banker to its investment banking group in the Americas, the firm said.

Lee Olive has joined Nomura as a managing director for acquisition leveraged finance. He will be responsible for all of the firm’s leveraged finance syndicate activities in the Americas. He will be based in New York and report to Carl Mayer, head of leveraged finance in the Americas.

Olive was most recently with Citadel Securities and worked at Citigroup before that. He has held positions responsible for high yield capital markets and syndicate, leveraged credit sales and trading and high yield research.

The firm added several investment bankers to its group last October after leading bankers left the bank in June.
