New Head for Barclays US Securitization Trading

Barclays has appointed Adam Yarnold head of US securitized products trading, according to a person familiar with the situation.

Yarnold will continue to be based in New York and report to Scott Wede, head of global securitized products trading.

In his new role, Adam will have management oversight for all the securitized products trading desks in the US, including agency RMBS, agency CMBS, residential credit, whole loans, US CMBS and US ABS.

Yarnold will continue to be based in New York and report to Scott Wede, head of global securitized products trading. He is replacing Wede, the former head of US securitized products trading who was named global head at the end of last year.

He joined Barclays in 2009 from Braver Sterns and has been instrumental in solidifying the bank’s leading position in non-agency trading.
