Stephen Mathews took the role of managing director of GC Securities, the firm said today in a press release. He is based in New York.
Prior to joining GC Securities, Mathews was a senior member of Willis Capital Markets & Advisory. He has also held positions at Banc of America Securities, Goldman Sachs and Price Waterhouse.
Mathews reports to Chris Ezbiansky, head of M&A advisory – Americas.
“Steve’s extensive knowledge of the (re)insurance industry, broad transaction experience and industry insights will be valuable to our clients as they execute their strategic priorities,” said Ezbiansky on the new hire.
