Markit has hired Adam Kansler as a member of its executive team. The new hire will play multiple roles as an executive vice president, global head of corporate, government and legal affairs, and the companys general counsel.
Before Markit, Kansler was a partner in the corporate department at Proskauer Rose where he focused on private equity and the financial services industry.
Markits CEO Lance Uggla stated that Kansler would bring a much-needed breadth of abilities to the executive management team, which is key to furthering the growth of the company.
