Macquarie Investment Management (MIM), which is part of the Macquarie Funds Group, has appointed four senior executives to strengthen its distribution across Europe.

Jerry Devlin joins as head of U.K. financial institutions; Richard Guerin joins as head of European consultant relations; Xavier Michel joins as manager in pooled funds and Kate Giblin joins as manager in sales and marketing support.

Devlin spent over 20 years in senior sales roles targeting U.K., European, and Channel Islands financial institutions. He joins Macquarie having previously been head of U.K mutual fund sales at Barings and most recently global head of sales at Castlestone Management.

Guerin was previously at Blackrock Investment Management where he was director in  global consultant relations in the U.K. He was responsible for managing relationships with several global investment consultants.

Michel, who will be based in Vienna, will have oversight for Macquarie Fund Solutions, the umbrella SICAV vehicle for several of Macquarie’s pooled funds. He will play a central role in improving and further developing MIM’s pooled funds offering in Europe.

Giblin will join MIM in London and brings more than 10 years of experience in marketing and communications across the public and private sectors, including six years in the investment management industry with Delaware Investments in Philadelphia.
