Macfarlanes appointed Rachel Kelly as a partner effective June 2011.
Kelly will play a key role in the on-going strategic development of the firm's structured finance and debt capital markets practice.
She will help meet the rising demand from its clients for debt capital markets advice in terms of both acquisition financings and refinancings and build on the firm's current structured finance capability.
Kelly was previously at Clifford Chance where she was a partner in its structured finance practice for 14 years.
