Lewtan Technologies announced that it will launch a new portal that provides free access to the most recent remittance reports and original prospectuses for public European securitizations at Information Management Network's Global ABS conference in Cannes that starts this week.
The data accessed through the portal will be updated as new reports are published. The portal will help the European securitization industry cope with evolving market conditions and regulatory changes that will result in an increased need for transparency and the creation of best practices throughout the industry.
Having a free centralized point of access to public deal information will enable investors and regulators to easily access crucial information about public European securitizations, said Ira Keller, CEO of Lewtan. Prior to Lewtans Global ABS Portal, the only option available to find this information in one location was through commercial vendors.
Keller likened the data available via its new Global ABS Portal to the Securities and Exchange Commission's EDGAR database and the increased disclosures provided under Reg AB.
