Lewtan said today that it has bulked up its team with the additions of Miten Amin, as director of market applications, based in the London; and Youriy Koudinov, as director of market applications and securitized products research, based in the US.
Lewtan is a provider of asset-backed securities data and analytics, software, and content for the global securitization industry.
Salil Donde, CEO at Lewtan said in a company press release that the new hires will “help shape the future of our offerings."
Amin brings to Lewtan 12 years of structured finance experience in investment banking. He will focus on formulating and driving the Lewtan strategy for investor and issuer based solutions in Europe and Asia.
His most notable work was on the ABS/CLO capital markets/syndicate desk at ABN AMRO and serving as head of ABS/CLO syndicate at Commerzbank. Amin has also worked at Hoare Capital Markets in a structured finance solutions capacity and previously held a regulatory finance position at Bear Stearns.
He has worked on the execution of primary market issues across jurisdictions in prime RMBS, non-conforming, consumer, reg cap and arbitrage CLOs with the provision of much needed liquidity in secondary markets.
Koudinov joins Lewtan with over 16 years of fixed income and structured finance experience. Koudinov’s role includes market research, product strategy and customer relationship management for Lewtan.
He most recently worked at TIAA-CREF as the director of fixed income research for structured products in the global public markets. There, he served as the research analyst responsible for overseeing various sectors of RMBS in a $56 billion portfolio of agency and non-agency mortgage-backed securities.
Koudinov recently took part in a fixed income research management team overseeing the structured products research process across numerous securitized products sectors. He has also previously held research positions in the corporate investment grade and international bond groups.
Prior to TIAA-CREF, Koudinov worked at Credit Suisse as an investment banker.
