Brokerage firm Laeken International plans to enhance its fixed-income and structured finance products focus by establishing a structured finance strategy and analytics team.
Laeken International plans to appoint industry expert James Woodrow to lead the soon-to-be created group.
Marius Grant, Glenn Morris and Shannon Kelly are also expected to join the new unit, which will provide and assist the fixed-income sales and trading teams with necessary analysis and support particularly focusing on mortgage and other ABS products.
“As we continue to witness a tremendous business and trading opportunity in the fixed income sector, we continue to expand our efforts of providing product offerings to complement the trading needs of our clients,” said Sebastian Pacey, co-founder and chief executive officer of Laeken International. “With the augmented demands for structured products particularly in asset-backed securities products, we considered this as an impressive opportunity to reinforce our position in the structured product sector.”
