KeyBanc Hires MD for MBS Sales and Trading

KeyBanc Capital Markets (KBCM) has expanded its MBS sales and trading group by hiring Joseph McHale as a managing director.

In this new role, McHale, based in New York City, will be responsible for selling fixed-income securities to institutional accounts.

McHale brings over 25 years of investment banking experience to this position. Before KBCM, McHale was a managing director at Auriga Securities.  He also held the position of managing director at Brevan Howard, Nomura Securities and Donaldson, Lufkin and Jenrette.

“The addition of Mr. McHale is part of an overall strategy to build out of our mortgage-backed securities and trading effort,” said Keith Newman, director and branch office manager in the New York fixed-income sales and trading group. “We are pleased to have Joe join our team and we look forward to his future success in our firm.”
