International law firm Morgan Lewis has hired Joseph Gatti as a partner in its structured transactions practice, the company announced.
Gatti will be based in the firm's Washington, D.C. office, where he focuses on structuring and executing asset-backed securities deals and other structured finance transactions, the company announced.
He joins from Amherst Residential, a real estate investment, development and operating platform, where he led the firm's legal strategy and advised market professionals across the full lifecycle of a transaction. Gatti works on a range of financing structures, but is an expert in single-family residential assets and residential mortgages, the company said.
Gatti's background reflects the sophisticated blend of transactional and strategic judgment our clients expect when navigating complex structured finance transactions," according to a statement from Jami McKeon, firm chair.
