Cantor has appointed Jim White as its head of fixed income across asset sales, in a role where he will lead the firm's Fixed Income Asset Sales Group, and focus on structured products, municipal bonds, agency products and rates.
Previously known as National Markets, the fixed-income sales group will work closely with clients such as asset managers, banks, credit unions and municipalities, giving them access to its full range of capabilities from its fixed income platform, according to a company announcement.
White reports to Mike Cunningham, head of structured products, the company said.
Previously, White was a managing director and institutional fixed incomes sales professional for Stifel, after beginning his career at Goldman Sachs, Cantor said.
White's hire is part of another shift happening at Cantor, which moves Jim Baldo, its previous head of National Markets, into the role of Senior Managing Director in fixed income across asset sales.
