Jeffrey Stern has joined Winston & Strawn LLP as a partner in the firm’s structured-finance practice in New York, the firm said in a statement.
Stern has more than 20 years of experience in complex structured products. He was previously a partner at Pillsbury Winthrop Shaw Pittman LLP, has advised on new and emerging forms of domestic and cross-border structured financings, credit derivative structures and structured funds, alternate risk transfer transactions, including financings involving energy assets, insurance, and real estate, as well as crowdfunding platforms.
He also has represented clients in Latin America, where he focuses on cross-border financings and energy and infrastructure transactions.
