Italian bank UniCredit SpA yesterday priced its €1 billion, 10-year covered bond at 215 basis points over midswaps, according to Dow Jones report.
The report indicated that pricing matched the trading level of the 4.75% Italian government bond maturing September 2021.
BNP Paribas, HSBC Holdings, Societe Generale, UBS and UniCredit were lead managers on the deal.
The UniCredit covered bond follows a similar deal sold this month by Dutch lender ING. According to market reports, two other banks also tapped the market.
