The Information Management Network has announced it will proceed with its annual Fall ABS East securitization conference in Miami Beach, Fla., albeit at a later-than-usual date and with a “hybrid” in-person/virtual event format.
IMN issued a release Monday stating that the ABS East 2020 conference has been slated for Dec. 1-2 – delayed from its historical late September dates. The event agenda will also be available through both in-person and virtual events in Miami Beach that can accommodate potential safety and social-distancing measures as warranted by the COVID-19 pandemic.
Such a format allows for “the potential to go entirely digital, should conditions dictate,” the organization announced. “The push back to December will offer the opportunity for more socially distanced outdoor meetings and gatherings in Miami Beach, and new cleaning and safety measures will be in place to ensure the well-being of all attendees.”
The venue remains the Fontainebleu Miami Beach resort in the mid-Miami Beach area.
Previous ABS East trade shows have typically involved panel discussion tracks, continuing education seminars and an exhibit hall.
The conference has yet to set an agenda for the two-day format, and registration will be offered at a later date.
