Integrated Asset Services (IAS) appointed Paul Sveen, a residential mortgage and structured finance business executive, as its chief executive officer.

Sveen is a  25-year veteran of the industry. As part of his 19-year career with Lehman Brothers, Sveen held executive leadership roles in that bank's structured finance and securitization businesses and at Aurora Loan Services, Lehman's largest residential mortgage company that is based in Denver.  

Sveen is focused on enhancing IAS's suite of products and services by directing efforts toward addressing the systemic challenges facing the residential mortgage industry.

"I'm honored to be taking the reins at this pivotal time for the residential mortgage industry," Sveen said. "Our attention moving forward will be focused on providing innovative solutions that address the critical needs of our clients, both through leveraging our existing valuation and default services and several new initiatives we will unveil over the remainder of the year."
