Hill Oversees SunTrust Mortgages

Atlanta-based SunTrust Banks said C.T. Hill, its corporate executive vice president and head of consumer banking and mortgage, would now have his primary focus on the company's mortgage business.

As part of that shift, SunTrust hired Brad Dinsmore as executive vice president of consumer banking and private wealth management.

William H. Rogers Jr., president and chief executive, said "Giving [Dinsmore] responsibility for our traditional consumer banking and private wealth management operations will enable us to benefit from his deep experience and insights, and allow C.T. to focus on the extremely important tasks under way and ahead in our mortgage business. In addition, C.T. and Brad will partner in our efforts to align our consumer banking strategy with the evolving regulatory environment and changing client banking behaviors."

Jerome Lienhard remains as president and CEO of SunTrust Mortgage, where he replaced Sterling Edmunds Jr., in that job in March of this year. Lienhard continues to report to Hill.
