Matthew Yoon has joined the financial services regulatory group of DLA Piper’s government affairs practice as a partner in New York, the law firm announced Thursday. Yoon arrives from SNR Denton and previously Thacher Proffitt & Wood.
Yoon’s practice focuses on mortgage banking and consumer financial products, and he advises major lenders, brokers and servicers, hedge funds, private equity funds and other Wall Street investors in the primary and secondary markets on mortgage and consumer lending regulation, including financial privacy matters.
