DFG Investment Advisers appoints new partner, adds managing director

DFG Investment Advisers has promoted a co-portfolio manager to a new partner position, as well as hired a new executive for its credit research team.

Newly promoted partner Timothy Milton has been with the firm since 2014 and has served as a Co-Portfolio manager while managing the Vibrant Capital CLO platform.

Milton's "extensive sell-side trading experience has been embedded deeply in the DFG investment culture, and his drive and energy are the critical characteristics we look for in our partners," said Oliver E. Wriedt, chief executive officer of DFG.

Eduardo Cabral joins the DFG credit research team as a managing director. Cabral has formerly served roles at Goldman Sachs, GoldenTree Asset Management and the former Bear Stearns.

The promotion of Milton and the appointment of Cabral follow DFG's hiring of 18-year industry veteran John Hwang this May in support of its Vibrant CLO platform.

DFG has approximately $6.1 billion in assets under management.
