Dewey & LeBoeuf has hired Marshall Stoddard, the former co-chair of Mayer Browns global banking and finance practice, as the head of its U.S. bank and institutional finance group.
Stoddard is a transactional and corporate advisor, practicing commercial, banking and bankruptcy law. He has worked on various types of transactions including debt financing, commercial lending, corporate financing, asset-based lending, cash flow lending, acquisition financing and mezzanine financing.
He has worked with companies in various sectors, including, technology, telecommunications, industrial, financial services, media, consumer products, resort and leisure, transportation and agriculture. And he has represented senior creditors, syndicate groups, bondholders, and secured creditors during restructurings, and has helped arrange exit financings, strategic divestitures in addition to other restructured-related financing.
