DBRS today announced that it will soon be launching a new series of monthly market reports.
These reports are being launched as a response to an overwhelming demand by all market participants to have more timely updates and greater transparency regarding the assets backing securitizations.
The reports will be broken down by funding type and will be provided as follows: term ABS, ABCP conduits term matched notes, affected trusts and market summary, according to a release from the rating agency.
Each report will be published as soon as complete information is received from the respective issuers in a market segment, ensuring that market participants receive the consolidated view in a timely fashion, Jerry Marriott, managing director of Canadian RMBS and ABS, said.
Additionally, DBRS has enhanced its reporting on ABCP conduits and term matched notes. Conduits will now be grouped by administrator so that there's easier review of conduit families and, where available, will include a link to the administrator to facilitate more direct contact.
At the individual conduit level, disclosure will be on a deal-by-deal basis, giving investors a better opportunity to understand the nature and types of assets that the conduit invests in as well as the levels of credit enhancement available," Marriott said."Reporting will also feature performance metrics as calculated
in each transaction to allow investors to monitor individual transactions.
Finally, each conduit report will include graphically displayed information on the asset composition of the conduit as well as the classification of the sellers industries.
