Dale Westhoff Shifts Responsibilities at CS

Former head of securitized products research at Credit Suisse Dale Westhoff will be shifting his responsibilities at the firm.

Together with  George Oomman, head of derivatives strategy at the firm, Westhoff will now be focusing on enhancing and expanding Credit Suisse's valuation and analytical client capabilities within Locus.

Locus is Credit Suisse's platform that features its view of the market and trade ideas. It allows users to customize their own market views and set up trade performance monitors.

Westhoff joined Credit Suisse early last year to lead its securitized products research team.

Roger Lehman will succeed Westhoff as the head of securitized products research. This will be aside from his role as lead CMBS strategist.

Lehman joined Credit Suisse in mid-2011. He was previously at Bank of America Merrill Lynch, where he developed the bank's CMBS research group. He also held leadership positions what was then Merrill Lynch's U.S. credit, Americas fixed income and equity linked research and U.S. rates businesses.

Additionally, Mahesh Swaminathan will be expanding his role and will oversee all of the firm's residential MBS strategy. Swaminathan has been Credit Suisse's senior agency MBS strategist for the past several years and has also been with the firm for close to a decade.
