Cole Real Estate Investments hired Travis Bowers as senior director of underwriting. In this role, Bowers will be responsible for underwriting functions related to analyzing and acquiring prospective office and industrial acquisition pursuits.
Bowers has 13 years experience in structuring and underwriting complex commercial real estate loans, joint ventures, structured financings and sale-leasebacks.
Before Cole, Bowers was vice presiden of equity investments for GE Real Estate where he worked for eight years holding different positions. Most recently, he launched a newly created investment platform for the acquisition of single-tenant office, retail and industrial properties nationwide. Bowers closed $750 million in acquisitions while he was at GE.
He also managed a nationwide origination process involving pre-screening deals as well as the detailed review of appraisals, property condition assessments, environmental reports, and title and survey reports.
